About the team

  The Sales Operations job family is the critical link between the development and execution of the sales and go-to-market strategy.  This team handles a range of tactical and strategic responsibilities, including:  compensation/incentive plan modeling, territory structuring and alignment, lead management, process optimization, data modeling, analytics, and reporting.

 

About the role

The Senior Sales Operations Analyst manages support functions essential to sales efficiency and success. This includes planning, reporting, sales process optimization, and sales program implementation. This role is instrumental in tracking leading and lagging metrics, quota management and creating reports to reveal insights to drive future business decisions 

 

Qualifications and requirements 

• 4 - 6+ years of experience in sales planning, operations, business analytics • 3+ years’ experience in data extraction and providing insights through reporting • Expert level Excel skills • Experience with Salesforce CRM, BI tools, and SQL • Experience supporting territories, quotas, and compensation for sales team’s a plus • Strong presentation and communication skills, and comfortable working with senior leadership • Sharp focus towards data accuracy and reporting to drive increased sales productivity

  Principal duties and responsibilities

• Analyze and recommend strategic priorities, sales performance metrics, and sales effectiveness tracking methods • Draft sales quotas and evaluate the effectiveness of quotas on an ongoing basis • Develop and maintain dashboards in Salesforce and Looker to provide reporting on key metrics and analytic • Create and design process improvements that provide efficient and scalable sales processes • Develop and ensure accurate preparation of sales reports for leadership presentations • Proactively monitor sales organization efforts and identify opportunities for sales process improvements • Partner with Sales leadership on defining policies and procedures  • Collaborate with peers across the business to improve the overall effectiveness of our go-to-market activities • Proactively identify opportunities to improve sales team efficiency and lead efforts to scale standard methodologies • All other duties as assigned
