Marketing Coordinator

About The Role:

You are a self starter and go getter who likes to get their hands dirty. You are familiar with the local fitness/sports/lifestyle landscape and have experience working in a hyper growth environment. You have a passion for marketing and getting things done with an eye for detail and time management. You’ll ideally love fitness and wellness (you’ll get a free ClassPass membership of course!), have a keen eye for social media, and be happy to roll up your sleeves and get involved with all tasks where necessary. You speak and write fluent Mandarin and are happy to grow by self-learning and help with translations, photoshoots, influencer engagements and lots more!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting team with executing the growth marketing, content, lifecycle, and social media strategies.
  • Manage and localize content, email, and all our social media channels to ensure a personalized and effective customer activation strategy
  • Working closely with studio partners on local events and marketing to increase acquisition for the company
  • Support the growth targets for all of our China markets (including Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen and Guangzhou) and support the local marketing strategy to ensure we exceed our targets
  • Support offline events, conference, and exhibition.
  • Partner with the greater marketing organization and central marketing teams to grow the overall business, exchange learnings to better execute on our global marketing strategy
  • Connect with local community leaders, influencers and partners to drive brand awareness
  • Responsible for translating marketing materials in a locally relevant context
Skills & Experience:
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English
  • Some marketing experience, preferably in a market-based model, though this is not essential
  • Ability to work cross-functional and build effective relationships with different stakeholders
  • Some experience with advertising on WeChat, Weibo, Baidu, TikTok and similar digital marketing platforms
  • Highly organized and efficient with the ability to develop and execute against an evolving plan
  • Understanding of performance metrics (CPM, CMI, CPA, CPC & LTV); beneficial
  • Active interest in fitness and wellness industry a plus
  • Right to work in China
