About the right team member

The Sr Sales Compensation Analyst will contribute to the development, implementation and administration of incentive compensation programs, ensuring programs are aligned with the company’s global Compensation Strategy. This role delivers incentive compensation administration and consultation to the sales teams. This role also improves the effectiveness of all company incentive compensation programs by performing and communicating detailed and thorough analysis of the plans regularly. Additionally, this role provides insightful ideas on design, governance and compliance as it relates to establishing appropriate parameters and identifying abnormal conditions.  

About the role


  • Support the overall sales compensation process from plan design to calculating, analyzing, forecasting and investigating all matters related to variable incentive. 
  • Calculate sales commissions for all Mindbody + ClassPass team members’ on a sales incentive plan. Responsible for timely submission of payments to payroll. Conducts regular reviews of data to ensure accuracy. 
  • Develops and maintains business relationships with People & Culture, Finance and Sales to ensure alignment with best practices in sales compensation. 
  • Researches and resolves questions, discrepancies, and other ad hoc requests from leadership. 
  • Designs and develops financial models and analysis to evaluate proposed Sales Compensation plan designs, in-year plan changes, and special programs. 
  • Results driven and accountable for actions; ability to work under tight deadlines and schedules while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Highly analytical, detailed, accurate, organized, and reliable. 
  • Experience in sales compensation in a professional, fast-paced environment. 
  • Possess strong analytical skills to effectively analyze data and create meaningful, understandable models, reports, metrics, and charts. 
  • Provides analysis and measures trends to assess effectiveness and quality of Compensation Plans and programs. 
  • Drives automation and process improvements for simplification and efficiency of Compensation programs. 
  • Supports management on relevant analyses, including continual definition of best metrics and reporting methods. 
  • All other duties as assigned. 

Skills & experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources or related field. 
  • Relevant senior experience in Sales Compensation design and sales compensation administration. 
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with tact and diplomacy, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. 
  • Ability to work independently and process a high volume of error-free, detailed work. 
  • Advanced Excel skills related to formulas and functions, including: Pivot tables, vlookups, Nested IF statements, Logic statements, etc. Macro experience desired. 
  • Experience with a commissions automation tool such as Xactly, Spiff, and Captivate IQ desired. 
  • English Fluency
