Who we are

As experts in the Mindbody platform, Solutions Engineering (SE) works alongside the global Mindbody sales team to present a compelling solution to a customer’s business challenges, especially those requiring more complex technical solutions.  They achieve this by participating in customer demos, providing reactive support for sales reps, and ensuring product updates are successfully rolled out to the sales team.  The team is held accountable to quarterly quotas in support of monthly recurring revenue.   

About the right team member

The Manager, Solutions Engineering is responsible for leading and managing the global MINDBODY Solutions Engineering team, ensuring successful support and achievement of quarterly Monthly Recurring Revenue quotas in support of global sales goals. 

About the role

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of MINDBODY sales objectives and guide the Solutions Engineering team to align and support those goals.
  • Design and refine Solutions Engineering and sales processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness, including SE adoption best practices. 
  • Identify key metrics for the team’s success, review and hold the team accountable to meeting those KPI’s. 
  • Partner with Revenue Enablement in support of Product updates and roll outs.
  • Act as an escalation point for internal and external issues related to the team. 
  • Work closely with Revenue Analytics and Total Rewards to establish and manage team variable compensation and quotas. 
  • Motivate, coach and empower direct reports in alignment with team success metrics. 
  • Ensure the success of each direct report by helping with escalations, and acting as a professional resource and coach for continued development.  

Skills & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • 3+ years of previous leadership and management of a technical team 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; with an ability to present/teach a variety of audiences 
  • Extremely organized with a strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and be flexible in a fast-paced environment 
  • Capacity and aptitude to thoroughly understand MINDBODY products and services, and be able to articulate functionality and features on a technical level 
  • Ability to communicate the MINDBODY value proposition using a combination of soft skills and translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders 
  • Salesforce experience/knowledge preferred 
  • Comfort with analyzing data to find optimal processes for improving SE effectiveness
