About the right team member

The Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing programs and campaigns focused on consumer metrics like retention rates, ARPU, sentiment. Key responsibilities include developing strategies and tactics to target, attract and capture customers, improve existing processes to generate sales, recurring revenue, and improve customer attrition. Day-to-day activities include understanding target audience needs, building nuanced audience strategies, conducting A/B tests and analyzing data to optimize KPIs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in end-to-end execution of numerous B2C marketing campaigns, a strong understanding of marketing metrics and technology solutions and a strong track record of driving successful lifecycle initiatives to reduce customer churn. 

About the role

  • Analyze customer performance, retention and LTV metrics across channels and cohorts, providing forecast and variance justifications. Regularly report on the performance of consumer retention efforts, providing actionable insights and recommendations 
  • Collaborate with creative, product, and strategy teams to develop and own the global lifecycle roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact and effort. 
  • Launching retention and engagement tests end to end, starting with ideation and discovery to analysis and scaling globally 
  • Implement A/B testing and other strategies to improve business metrics and campaign performance. 
  • Master Braze platform for email setup, dynamic attributes, data imports, as well as developing the technical understanding of the broader marketing team’s skills (e.g,. email production, ESP tool proficiency, internal admin tools, SQL/Tableau) 
  • Understand existing consumer flow to effectively run marketing tests, proARpose workaround solutions for initial testing as well as scalable solutions for ongoing initiatives. 
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, applying industry best practices and considering emerging technologies across process automation, personalization and CRM tools

Skills & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field  
  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing / consulting  
  • Proven ability to project manage multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously with minimal oversight, covering the entire customer lifecycle 
  • Seasoned at aligning marketing programs to a user cycle and how to deploy the right marketing channel, at the right time, for the right audience 
  • Results-oriented, with a track record of owning a marketing testing strategy, analyzing A/B test results and performing ad hoc analysis to gain additional insight 
  • Strong knowledge of customer engagement and retention strategies 
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and external partners 
  • Advanced Excel skills required; SQL is a plus Experience leveraging data-driven researchto drive strategic direction, channel behavior into actionable insights and optimize programs 
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in Braze or email service provider 
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience using project management software such as Asana, JIRA, etc.
