About the Role

The Technical Business Analyst is responsible for ongoing evaluation and change management of business system environments and integrated applications. This role requires previous experience with Salesforce administration and will support requests ranging from “keep the lights on” maintenance requests, general system optimization enhancements and large transformation projects. This role partners with internal business operations teams to determine and document business requirements and technical designs to assist in the development and implementation of process and system solutions supporting Customer Service, Sales and Marketing teams.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years’ relevant IT experience required
  • Essential knowledge of Salesforce and related systems with ability to troubleshoot
  • Ability to learn new Salesforce integrated applications based on business need
  • Experience in leading projects or initiatives through discovery, design and delivery phases
  • Experience and skills in translating business requirements into technical solutions
  • Ability to implement advanced strategies for gathering, anticipating, reviewing, and analyzing data requirements and evaluating business processes to uncover areas for improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills with the ability to adapt communication styles to meet interests, needs and technical levels of different stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM01) or additional Salesforce certifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Business Analysis (IIBA) certifications
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Essential knowledge Customer Service business systems (Service Cloud, Gainsight, or FinancialForce)
  • Experience with modeling techniques and methods, preferably using Lean or Six Sigma tools
  • Strong skills with Excel and Visio platforms

What You’ll Do:

  • Elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements to effectively represent business needs
  • Establish strong partnerships Marketing, Sales and Customer Experience stakeholders
  • Partner with Project Management to execute deliverables against project timelines and strategic goals
  • Partner with IT developers and vendors to facilitate and document design of high-value solutions
  • Conduct analysis against industry standards and best practices to evaluate, design and implement process and system solutions to improve performance and quality
  • Plan and conduct user testing sessions to thoroughly test processes and system functionality

·        Demonstrate excellent collaboration and communication skills to distribute deliverables and information to all audiences, including executive leadership, operations teams, and end users

 

You’ll Work Closely With:

o   Customer-facing business teams to collect, interpret and translate business requirements

o   IT Development teams to collaborate and translate business requirements to solution design

o   Operations and insights teams to ensure business data quality and process consistency 

o   Enablement and training teams to create and maintain change management/training resources

o   Supporting business/operational departments to ensure upstream and downstream efficiencies
