About the role

The Business Operations Specialist analyzes new projects, systems, and tools to determine operational requirements and impact across all stakeholders. This position identifies, recommends, maps and documents new procedures and processes required for project implementation. The role works closely with Project and Operations Managers across the company to drive implementation planning.

 

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred • 4-6 years of experience • Proven experience with formally documenting workflow and processes for optimization • An independent, forward thinker that affects change to accomplish overall business objectives • Successful at multitasking, organization, and time management • Writes clearly and effectively for a variety of situations, including, but not limited to, mapping  customer processes and workflows • Proficient to advanced experience with Google Applications and MS Office, including Excel • Thrives in fast-paced, results oriented culture; proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on data analysis • Change management expert • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify patterns, process information quickly and make  decisions in a timely manner • Proficiency in data visualization with tools such as Looker • Proactive about new initiatives; not afraid to ask questions and challenge status quo

 

Principal duties and responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to develop and execute business initiatives and operational plans that support MINDBODY product and growth objectives • Prepare and present reports, analysis, and other documents that provide insight into business performance • Make recommendations and collaborate with internal teams to drive business systems and process/policy enhancements across the organization to improve service to customers • Assume ownership of product documentation, business processes, and workflows to improve the speed of business • Identify, research, and solve business-related issues • Regularly gather feedback from teams and partners- bringing continuous process improvement suggestions to management.
