JOB FAMILY SUMMARY: 

This team is responsible for identifying, growing HQC prospects and adding net new names/leads to our database. The leads added will then be routed to our sales counterparts by region so that the nurturing/sales process can begin. 

 

JOB SUMMARY:  

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) qualifies outbound leads and creates opportunities for our Sales Executives. This role is responsible for seeking out new opportunities via the web, as well as for contacting prospects. This role creates awareness of the MINDBODY product, increases interest level and sets up demonstrations of the software. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Able to think quickly on their feet and respond to prospect rebuttals 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral 

  • Possess the drive to hit and exceed KPIs and Sales introduction targets 

  • Able to ask open questions in order to gather information about prospective clients 

  • Happy to work at a fast pace with high activities each day 

  • Able to think outside of the box to find prospects and engage with them on different platforms such as Linkedin and social media  

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Finds prospective new businesses and also engages existing prospects  

  • Communicates with prospects leveraging multiple channels – phone, email, social media, Linkedin 

  • Drives sales volume via outbound cold calls and lead generation 

  • Manage and update communications and activities within company CRM (Salesforce) 

  • Works with prospects to set up software demonstration calls 

  • Consistently achieve outbound prospecting objectives and key performance indicators as defined for the role 

  • All other duties as assigned
