About the right team member
The Client Engagement Specialist is a SaaS sales expert with proven experience partnering with small businesses. This role is all about being a great communicator, project manager, and collaborator all while operating with a high-level sales acumen in an effort to save highly complex deals that are at risk of cancellation. This individual will work cross functionally with stakeholders across Sales, Onboarding, and CX to find the best solutions to retain these customers at Mindbody.
About the role
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years in a retention or upgrade role at a SaaS company with a stellar track record of performance.
- High level of technical aptitude – strong understanding of API’s, SaaS, cloud computing etc.
- Exposure to the health & wellness industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent group presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong analytical skill with deep understanding of forecasting & data driven decision making.
- Strong ability to think quickly and respond to prospect objections.
- Strong ability to clearly and accurately convey information to prospects, clients and business partners. • Ability to function well under pressure and works well within a competitive environment.
- Excellent teamwork and enthusiasm.
- Ability to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs, OKRs, and quotas as assigned.
Skills & experience
- Ability to save and retain escalated customers at risk of canceling
- Nice to have: Fluency in English, Italian, and French!
- Drives revenue retention through consultative high touch engagement
- Works with customers to schedule consultative engagement calls
- Works cross functionally alongside several teams, including but not limited to Customer Experience, Customer Success, Onboarding, Implementation, and Net New Sales (Land).
- Expected to reach retention goals while following internal processes and collaborating effectively where necessary
