Who we are
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Technical Program Manager to help define and execute legal and compliance workstreams across Mindbody and ClassPass.
This role will work closely with our legal, product and engineering teams to identify and implement technical and operational solutions for a variety of compliance use cases. This critical role will sit within the product organization and is responsible for ensuring tight collaboration and alignment across work streams, de-risking execution and maintaining deep attention to detail. Your work will contribute to our collective, global mission to inspire more wellness in the world.
About the role
- Work closely with the Mindbody & ClassPass legal team and Product, Design & Engineering team to define and execute compliance and legal initiatives
- Serve as a bridge between cross-functional working teams, ensuring clarity around requirements, deliverables and timelines
- Build alignment with key stakeholders from across the organization, seek a range of perspectives and solicit honest feedback prior to finalizing decisions; champion our ‘Debate, Decide, Commit’ culture
- Assist in vetting internal and 3rd party technical solutions to address legal and compliance needs
- Track and report out on progress and impact of key initiatives
Skills & experience
- You’re a seasoned cross-functional program leader with a track record of balancing quality, impact and timeliness of the workstreams you support.
- You ensure alignment across legal, product, and engineering teams for timely and compliant project delivery.
- You’re adept at risk assessment & prioritization, partnering closely with legal to identify, conduct risk assessment, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks, ensuring that all projects and programs adhere to evolving regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, TCPA).
- You’re effective in steering multiple large, cross-functional workstreams simultaneously and maintaining attention to detail throughout
- You have a proven track record as strong communicator, influencer, and cross-functional partner
- You maintain comprehensive documentation and provide regular reporting on compliance programs, tracking progress, challenges, and key metrics to keep leadership and stakeholders informed
- You have experience collaborating closely with Product teams to communicate and translate compliance requirements into actionable technical specifications, overseeing the implementation of compliant features and workflows
- You are comfortable working self-sufficiently and in ambiguity, frequently seeking new data, learnings and assessing best practices to inform decision making
- Prior legal and/or compliance experience is a pro but not required
- You have at least 3 years of experience in technical program management or product management
