About the right team member
The Compensation Analyst will assist with the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, ensuring programs are aligned with MINDBODY’s global Compensation Strategy. Participate in salary surveys and conduct compensation and job analysis through market research, data gathering and interpretation of employee data. Ensure Mindbody’s total rewards package is desirable and competitive to attract, develop and retain key talent.
About the role
- Participate in annual salary surveys; assess jobs and their respective duties to determine appropriate salary range
- Support the maintenance of Pay Factors system/database by collecting, scrubbing, and uploading compensation data quarterly as needed
- Assist with annual compensation projects, including bonus programs and merit/promotion increases
- Complete ongoing benchmarking and evaluate appropriateness of current salary bands
- Provide analysis and measures trends to assess effectiveness and quality of Compensation Plans and programs
- Research and resolve questions, discrepancies, and other ad hoc requests from leadership
- Perform other job-related duties and projects as assigned
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant education, skills, and experience
- 2-4 years’ experience in compensation design and administration; within a Human Resources department preferred
- Knowledge of compensation terminology and fundamentals
- MSOffice skills; ability to manage and analyze large data sets using Excel (e.g. pivot tables, lookup function, etc)
- Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently in the completion of assigned tasks; demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Highly analytical, detailed, accurate, organized, and reliable
- Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with tact and diplomacy, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
