About the right team member

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Product Designer to lead Design on the Messenger AI team Mindbody.  

Responsibilities

• Working closely with Product, Engineering and GTM teams, to drive high-velocity and high-quality design implementation of the squad roadmap.
• Develop a design vision and strategy to enhance user experience and adoption of the Messenger AI product, tailored specifically for Fitness and Wellness businesses as a key part of Mindbody’s CRM solution.
• Collaborate with Product Management to ensure a user-centered design approach that integrates seamlessly with the overall CRM strategy, adding customer value throughout the wellness/fitness consumer lifecycle.

• Foster a high-functioning team culture focused on shipping thoughtful, user-valuable design updates, GTM strategies, and iterative learning every 2-4 weeks.
• Double the attach rate and revenue for Messenger AI by the end of the year, achieving high user satisfaction (NPS) and maintaining low support costs.
• Develop and communicate a unified and compelling design vision, and roadmap for Messenger AI within the broader CRM context.

Skills & experience

• Proven ability to design impactful web and mobile interfaces, with a preference for experience in messaging platforms within CX or CRM domains.
• Hands-on experience designing Generative AI applications, understanding the latest LLM capabilities, and design pattern.
• Excellent design intuition, continuously refined by user feedback and data analytics.
• Strong ownership and a sense of urgency, with comprehensive skills in user research, data-driven design decisions, visual and interaction design, and technical understanding.
• Experienced with agile and lean design methodologies, skilled in working collaboratively with full-stack product teams to deliver iterative design enhancements.
• Effective communicator and cross-functional collaborator, adept at fostering alignment and driving outcomes across diverse teams.
• A proactive approach, constantly seeking insights from user feedback, data, research, and design experiments to guide decisions.
