About the right team member

Mindbody is looking for a HR/P&C Operations Team Lead to join our People & Culture (P&C) Operations & Technology team. As a member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in leading the day-to-day tasks of the P&C operations team. You will lead the development of high-quality P&C processes and procedures while delivering best-in-class services to our employees. You will ensure compliance with relevant global regulations and company policies at all times and advise team members on the same. You will drive innovation to continually improve our employee experience.

About the role

  • Provide direction and support to P&C operations team members, overseeing all facets of the employee lifecycle with a sense of ownership, while cultivating a harmonious and collaborative work environment
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to streamline HR processes, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Develop P&C Operations SOPs, Job Aids, and in-depth process documentation
  • Lead overhaul of onboarding processes in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team, rolling out for all applicable countries and developing a scalable model that supports our global expansion goals
  • Establish and enforce quality assurance standards to maintain accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality
  • Serve as a point of contact for P&C Business Partners, employees, and managers regarding P&C-related inquiries, concerns, and issues, providing timely and effective resolution and support
  • Partner with Employee Experience team to streamline processes and support initiatives including, but not limited to, employee onboarding and engagement
  • Collaborate with P&C Data Analyst to spearhead continuous employee data audits, with a focus on enhancing accurate data entry
  • Perform ongoing needs and compliance assessments, providing recommendations to facilitate alignment with P&C strategy and scalability goals, while proactively managing risks and ensuring adherence to global compliance standards
  • Champion and engage in diverse projects, actively collaborating cross-functionally and driving initiatives to completion

Skills & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in P&C Operations or similar P&C focused role
  • Solid experience leading a team with demonstrated ability to prioritize and motivate
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of global P&C concepts, policies, best practices, and regulations
  • Extensive experience with HRIS platforms (Dayforce, Greenhouse, SABA preferred)
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in time and project management, demonstrating adeptness in autonomously overseeing tasks and responsibilities, both for oneself and others
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Experience working with sensitive and confidential data sources in the utmost professional manner
  • HR and/or Project Management certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, PMP) are a huge plus
