Mindbody App Nominated for Webby Award
Consumer app that helps people find, book, review and recommend health and wellness activities shortlisted as a Best Fitness and Recreation App

San Luis Obispo, Calif. – April 19, 2016 – The Mindbody app, created by MINDBODY, Inc. (NASDAQ:MB), the leading provider of cloud-based business management software for the wellness services industry, has been nominated for a Webby Award and a People’s Voice Webby Award.

Over 2.8 million people worldwide use the Mindbody app to find, book or pay for classes and appointments at wellness businesses in their community or on the road – from acupuncture to cycling, color highlights to massage, and martial arts to yoga. The app is a Webby finalist in the Mobile Sites and Apps: Fitness & Recreation category.

The Webby Awards recognize excellence on the internet with two annual honors — The Webby Award and The Webby People’s Voice Award – in each of the following categories: Websites, Advertising & Media, Online Film & Video, Mobile Sites & Apps, and Social. Members of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) select the nominees for both awards in each category, as well as the winners of The Webby Awards. The Webby People’s Voice is awarded by the voting public.

The 20th Annual Webby Awards received nearly 13,000 entries from nearly all 50 states and 65 countries worldwide. Voting for the People’s Voice Webby Award continues through midnight on April 21 and winners will be announced on April 26. Votes can be cast on the Webby Awards site.
