Mindbody Connect Named SIIA Software CODiE Award Finalist for Best Consumer Application

San Luis Obispo, CA – April 3, 2015 – MINDBODY Connect®, the consumer-facing mobile app which allows people to find, book and pay for wellness and beauty services worldwide, has been named a finalist for the 2015 SIIA Software CODiE Awards for Best Consumer Application. The SIIA Software CODiE Awards, which are created to reflect the latest industry trends and organized by industry focus, serve as the premier awards for the software and information industries.
Launched in 2013, Mindbody Connect links users to Mindbody’s global network of health, wellness and beauty services, making it possible for consumers to find, book and pay for any class or appointment at any featured business using one login. The free app helps consumers discover local wellness services using a geo-located map function. Consumers can view class and appointment descriptions, schedules and real-time availability; read practitioner biographies and user reviews written by consumers who have actually received the service; and book and pay for their desired services from their mobile device.
Since its launch last year, Mindbody Connect has surpassed 1.9 million downloads. Users have performed over 12 million searches, discovered over 175,000 new businesses, and made over 12 million bookings.
